TURKISH RIVIERA & AEGEA (8 DAYS) Starting from USD 149 PP/DBL


DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ANTALYA
Arrival in Antalya, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight near Antalya.
DAY 2: A DAY AT YOUR DISPOSAL / SIGHTSEEING BUS TOUR
After breakfast expect a thorough information meeting on the course of your stay and on facultative offers. In the afternoon you can enjoy a day at your disposal, or you can join a facultative sightseeing bus tour in the region with a lunch. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 3: APHRODISIAS KUSADASI
After breakfast you will go by bus to Kusadasi a resort town on the Aegean coast. On the way you will visit Aphrodisias, the City of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, one of the Aegean region's most interesting archaeological sites. A proper walk is awaiting you among the numerous and well preserved ruins up to the stadium and the theatre, one of the best preserved in all eastern Mediterranean. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 4: EPHESUS HOUSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY
Today you will be browsing the streets of Ephesus, a fabulous ancient city, one of the largest cities of the ancient time, which had a population of more than 250,000 in the 1st century BC. These are some of the monuments, you can see in Ephesus: the Odeon, the marble street, the Curetes Way,the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian,or the Theatre. Afterwards you will also visit a nearby House of the Virgin Mary, believed to have been the last home of Mary, mother of Jesus. It is a popular place of pilgrimage which has been visited by three recent popes. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 5: A DAY AT YOUR DISPOSAL / SIRINCE / BOAT CRUISE
You will have a day at your disposal, or you can participate in a facultative trip to Sirince, a beautiful hill village east of Selcuk,near Ephesus. The story goes that it was formerly inhabited by Ottoman Greeks and named Kirkinca ("Fortyish"), which the locals pronounced Cirkince, which means "ugly". Indeed its habitants gave this name on purpose as they did not want to be bothered by foreigners nor to share the beauty of their village. After the exchange of populations following World War I, Turks from Greece were moved here. They changed the name to Sirince "charming". Today the village is a perfect synthesis of TurkGreek culture as of the 1920's. It is famous for its wine. In the afternoon you can take a boat cruise along the Aegean Sea coastline. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 6: LAODICEA ANTALYA
You will return to Antalya today. You will visit a carpet manufactory and will be acquainted with history, dying, techniques etc The Turkish carpets have exuberant colours motifs, and patterns, and are traditionally woven by women. Further you will proceed to Laodicea, an ancient metropolis of Phrygia Pacatiana. It was probably owing to its large Jewish community, that at a very early period it became one of the chief seats of Christianity, and the see of a bishop. Today, the existing remains  still attest its former greatness. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 7: ANTALYA CITY TOUR
Today’s sightseeing is devoted to the provincial capital of Antalya. On the way to Antalya you will visit a jewellery manufactory, in Antalya you will first take a bus panoramic city tour up to the Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, then you will visit the traditional market area, and after the lunch you will stroll through Kaleici, the restored historical city centre which retains much of its historical character. Depending on weather conditions you will have an opportunity to take a boat cruise along the Antalya Bay. On your way back to the hotel you will visit a leather fashion show. Dinner and overnight in  Antalya.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for departure to your homeland.
