TURKISH RIVIERA (8 DAYS) Starting from USD 99 PP/DBL
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ANTALYA
Arrival in Antalya, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight near Antalya.
DAY 2: A DAY AT YOUR DISPOSAL / SIGHTSEEING BUS TOUR
After breakfast expect a thorough information meeting on the course of your stay and on facultative offers. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a day at your disposal, or you can join a facultative sightseeing bus tour in the region with a lunch. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 3: TAURUS MOUNTAINS VILLAGE TOUR
After breakfast you will depart towards Aksu for a fullday in the Taurus Mountains. Taurus Mountains are a mountain complex in southern Turkey. While you will be able to admire the passing unique landscape scenery and to take photos at several breaks, your experienced tour guide will provide you with thorough information on Turkey, social relations, people, culture etc.You will reach a village in the mountains where you will visit the mosque and one of the local houses. After a cup of tea in a local tea room you will visit a carpet manufactory, where most village women work, you will be acquainted with history, dying, techniques etc. The Turkish carpets have exuberant colours, motifs, and patterns, and are traditionally woven by women. You will take your lunch in the village too, you will watch women preparing traditional food, e.g. pita bread. This village tour shows the natural beauty of the area and brings clients closer to Turkish culture. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 4: ANTALYA CITY TOUR
Today’s sightseeing is devoted to the provincial capital of Antalya. On the way to Antalya you will visit a jewellery manufactory, in Antalya you will first take a bus panoramic city tour up to the Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, then you will visit the traditional market area, and after the lunch you will stroll through Kaleici, the restored historical city centre which retains much of its historical character. Depending on weather conditions you will have an opportunity to take a boat cruise along the Antalya Bay. On your way back to the hotel you will visit a leather fashion show. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 5: A DAY AT YOUR DISPOSAL / TRIP TO THE KURSUNLU WATERFALL
NATURAL PARK AND THE KARACAÖREN DAM LAKE
You will have a day at your disposal, or you can participate in a facultative trip. First you will stop to see the amazing waterfall of Kursunlu with its natural surrounding offering nice walking possibilities along the river. All visitors loving to walk in the natüre prefer this place which is quiet, peaceful and silent. The area had been proclaimed as Natural Park because of its healthy forest structure in which the rich plant community of the area unites with interesting water and rock forms in the Kursunlu Waterfall by creating an unique natural landscape characteristic. Then you will 3 continue to the Karacaören Dam Lake, which, with its tiny islands, dominates the verdant forest environment. There you will enjoy your lunch too. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 6: A DAY AT YOUR DISPOSAL / ALANYA CITY TOUR
You will have a day at your disposal, or you can participate in a facultative trip to Alanya, which begins in the morning. You will visit a banana plantation, Alanya Castle, a Seljuk era citadel dating from 1226, the Red Tower, Tersane (Shipyard), or market area. After lunch you will return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 7: MANAVGAT RIVER BOAT CRUISE
During this daily trip, you will explore the Manavgat Waterfalls. Although they are not located on a very high point, the water falls down with a great force. After seeing the Manavgat Waterfalls and after a short break, your bus will take you to the marketplace,waiting to be explored. Here, you will find almost anything you want, such as vegetables, fruits, spices, dried fruits and any kind of clothes and souvenirs. You will take a boattrip to arrive to the point where the river pours into the sea after sailing over the Manavgat River and by the fish farms.You will have a delicious lunch(freshly caught fish or a BBQ) and a chance to swim. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for departure to your homeland.
