DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ANTALYA
Arrival in Antalya, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 2: KONYA CAPPADOCIA
At ca. 8 am you will get on your comfortable bus to Cappadocia. While you will be able to admire the passing beautiful scenery, your experienced tour guide will provide you with thorough information on Turkey, social relations, people, culture etc. Against noon you will reach Konya, the city of Whirling Dervishes. The most important place to visit in Konya is the Mevlana's Mausoleum. After lunch you will continue to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 3: CAPPADOCIA
Today is your first day in Cappadocia, a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage.
Your first steps will start in the Red Valley, one of the most spectacular valleys of Cappadocia with its different kind of rock formations in variety colours. The hidden rockcut churches in the valley surprise the visitors. The hike ends at the abandoned Cavusin village. It is a wonderful hiking trail through tunnels, cave dwellings and cave churches, along vineyards, potatoes and pumpkin fields. In the afternoon you can admire the Göreme Valley from above. (ascent 100 m, descent 100 m, walking length: ca. 8 km)
DAY 4: CAPPADOCIA
You will be trekking in one of the most famous valleys of Cappadocia today, the Pigeon Valley. Its name comes from the pigeoncotes carved on its walls. A magnificent natural phenomenon awaits you here, a peaceful nature, where past and present meet. In the afternoon, you will pass through the Love Valley, which has different types of fairy chimneys, most of them amusingly phallic in appearance. (ascent 150 m, descent 150 m, walking length: ca. 14 km)
DAY 5: CAPPADOCIA
Don’t miss the one of life's great thrills, Cappadocia hotair balloon flight (facultative). The spectacular surrealistic landscapes combined with excellent flying conditions allow the balloons to gently drift over and between fairy chimneys, pigeon houses hewn into the unique rock formations, orchards and vineyards – through impressive valleys, each with distinctive rock formations, colours and features – and then float up over rippled ravines for breathtaking views over the region. The flight takes can 1 hour and you will be comfortably back in your hotel to take your daily tour.
After the breakfast you will first go by bus to southern Cappadocia to the Soganli Valley. This valley, breathing on medieval atmosphere, gives an opportunity to do some Cappadocian cavechurch exploring off the beaten path. In the afternoon you will visit the largest excavated underground city inTurkey, multilevel Derinkuyu Underground City with 8 accessible floors extending to a depth of approximately 85 m.(ascent 150 m, descent 150 m, walkinglength: ca. 8 km)
DAY 6: CAPPADOCIA
Another trekking day will take you to the Pancarlik Valley. It is a fantastic landscape, a tumble of waves with pastel colours, patchwork of vineyards and small gardens in terraces, olive and apricot trees, or almonds. The Pancarlik Valley equals also to Pancarlik, Sarica, Ala, Kepez Churches and Monasteries carved in the heart fairy chimneys. At the close of day you will visit a carpet manufactory and will be acquainted with history, dying, techniques etc.
The Turkish carpets have exuberant colours, motifs, and patterns, and are traditionally woven by women. (ascent 100 m, descent 100 m, walking length: ca. 14 km)
DAY 7: SULTANHANI ANTALYA
After breakfast you will set forth your return trip to Antalya. On the way you will stop at the Sultanhani Caravanserai, a monumental caravanserai which looks like a fortress, built during the Seljuk period in 1229, and the largest of all Seljuk caravanserais in Anatolia. Another stop will be done in a jewellery manufactory. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for departure to your homeland.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ISTANBUL
Arrival in Istanbul, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2: ANKARA CAPPADOCIA
After breakfast you will go by bus to Ankara, the centrally located capital of Turkey, once city of lower importance, until itofficially replaced Istanbul as the new Turkish capital city in 1923. During a panoramic city tour you will visit the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, where the founder of the Turkish Republic rests in peace.
Further you will go on to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 3: CAPPADOCIA

Evening (facultative): Enjoy the evening and relax after a day full of walking at a Turkish Night Show, an unforgettable evening in a local bar caved in a fairy chimney. The show highlights the dance traditions of various regions of Turkey(e.g. traditional Turkish wedding, Anatolian fire dance, Caucasus dance with knives and drums), complete with traditional costumes and of course, exhilarating belly dancers. Dinner and local wine or raki included.
DAY 5: CAPPADOCIA

Evening (facultative): Witness a performance of Whirling Dervishes, the members of the Mevlevi Order from Konya. The ritual whirling of the dervishes is an act of love and a drama of faith. It possesses a highly structured form within which the gentle turns become increasingly dynamic as the individual dervishes strive to achieve a state of trans.
DAY 6: CAPPADOCIA ISTANBUL
On this day you will proceed from Cappadocia back to Istanbul. As a farewell you will visit the Ihlara Valley, this dramatic gorge, cut by a small stream through the volcanic landscape, holds about 60 Byzantine churches, chapels, monasteries and hermits' caves dating from the 11th to 13th centuries.

DAY 7: ISTANBUL CITY TOUR
In Istanbul you will visit the famous Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. Opened in 1461, it is well known for its jewellery, pottery, spice, and carpet shops. Overwhelmed by mummery of the Grand Bazaar, you will take a ride along the Bosporus to have a lunch in an exclusive restaurant on the shore, after which you board for a romantic Bosporus Cruise.
No Istanbul experience is complete without a cruise on the Bosporus, it is as crucial as visiting any of the other major sightseeing spots. After arrival at the Golden Horn you will visit a jewellery manufactory.

TREKKING WESTERN AND SOUTHERN TURKEY Starting from USD 249 PP/DBL
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ANTALYA
Arrival in Antalya, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight near Antalya.
DAY 2: CHIMAERA ULUPINAR OLYMPOS
At this day you will walk to the legendary fires of Chimaera, characterized by a permanent fire caused by methane missions, he spot consists of some two dozen vents in the ground, grouped in two patches on the hillside above the Temple of haistos. From there you will move on to Ulupinar, where, after ca. 3 hours of walking, you will find a cosy restaurant with a magnificent view of the Lycian Olympos. Here your lunch will be a gustatory as well as visual delight. In the afternoon you will visit the ancient city of Olympos. Dinner and overnight near Antalya.
DAY 3: ANTALYA CITY TOUR
Today’s sightseeing is devoted to the provincial capital of Antalya. On the way to Antalya you will visit a jewellery manufactory, in Antalya you will first take a bus panoramic city tour up to the Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, then you will visit the traditional market area, and after the lunch you will stroll through Kaleici, the restored historical city centre which retains much of its historical character. Depending on weather conditions you will have an opportunity to take a boat cruise along the Antalya Bay. On your way back to the hotel you will visit a leather fashion show.

DAY 4: EPHESUS HOUSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY KUSADASI
After breakfast you will go by bus to Kusadasi, a resort town on the Aegean coast. After lunch you will browse the streets of Ephesus, a fabulous ancient city, one of the largest cities of the ancient time, which had a population of more than 250,000 in the 1st century BC. These are some of the monuments, you can see in Ephesus: the Odeon, the marble street, the Curetes Way, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, or the Theatre. Afterwards you will also visit a nearby House of the Virgin Mary, believed to have been the last home of Mary, mother of Jesus. It is a popular place of pilgrimage which has been visited by three recent popes.

DAY 5: BAFA LAKE HERAKLEIA
Walking near the Bafa Lake is on today’s program. The walking route starts in Herakleia and goes along a 6.5 km long city wall to ca. 500 m tall watchtower.
From here you will have an amazing view of the Bafa Lake. The path continues through bizarre rock formations down to the historic settlement of Latmus, predecessor of Heracleia. After return to the bus on the Bafa Lake shore, you will go back to Kusadasi.
Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 6: APHRODISIAS TAVAS ANTALYA
You will start early today morning, after breakfast you will be heading for Aphrodisias, the City of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, one of the Aegean region's most interesting archaeological sites. A proper walk is awaiting you among the numerous and well preserved ruins up to the stadium and the theatre, one of the best preserved in all eastern Mediterranean. Then you will drive to Tavas, a small provincial town, where you will visit a carpet manufactory and will be acquainted with history, dying, techniques etc. The Turkish carpets have exuberant colours, motifs, and patterns, and are traditionally woven by women.
After lunch you will proceed to the neighbourhood of Kemer for dinner and overnight accommodation.
DAY 7: OLYMPOS PHASELIS
Your last trek will start in Olympos and will mostly run through a dense forest full of scents of red pines and bays which provide a pleasant shadow between spring and autumn. The destination of this trek is a small clearing with a shepherd's hut and a small spring, where (in altitude of ca.700 m) you can take a sound rest and take pleasure in a lovely view of Cavusköy (Adrasan). After a subsequent peaceful visit to a ruined city of Phaselis, that is not overcrowded with tourists, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
